This is a cute gadget, with the teal sparkle but as far as design, it is basically a plastic stand that slides back and forth on the cable (of which I already have). It might be different if the cable stayed in place so that the mouse could be "set" (a.k.a. snapped) into the stand and charged, but that is not really the case. When I remove the mouse from the cable, the cable comes with the mouse before separating, pulling through the hole in the stand. That is why I said it is basically a cable with a pretty (and it is pretty), plastic stand that slides back and forth.Due to the fact that I have to slide the cable back in place, I might as well simply go back to what I was doing and plug the mouse in for charging and not bother with the stand. Also, the cable is so short that it isn't really a space saver on the desk. A space-saver would be a stand that I didn't have to "re-thread" and that could stay in play, and stay plugged in on the other end because the cable is long enough. In this case, I have to deal with the stand, the mouse, and now the cable length. It takes me more time, more space, more effort, and really its only value is that it is cute.P.S. I could "glue" the cable into place in the stand but then I have paid money for something just to wreck it and why did I make the purchase, just to use Elmer's glue on it? I might as well have built something with the glue and some recycled plastic and saved the time and money. Sorry guys... Nice idea, but fell extremely short of expectations considering all that I have to do just to use it.I always run into the issue of not remembering to charge my mac mouse, and it's very inconvenient because you can't charge the mouse and use it at the same time. This mouse stand allows me to dock it when I'm not using my machine, so it's always fully charged! Highly recommend! The product is also made very well and arrived sooner than expected. All around great buy!Helps me keep my mouse charged while never leaving my desk or sitting all weirdMy Magic Mouse 2 died at the most inconvenient times because I would never get around to hooking it up to charge because of its awful charging design. Got this and now my mouse never drops below 50% because it sits on my desk, out of the way, and I can pop my mouse onto it with little effort.First, love that I could swap out the cable for my own black Apple lightning cable because I keep everything on my desk black so there's no distraction. Easy to replace by pulling the included cable up with a pair of needle nose, turn it 90º, then it slides right out the bottom. I had asked the manufacturer about this and they pointed out that it should/has to be an Apple cable because others might not fit in the hole. Luckily, my black cable is Apple and it fit without problem. Two things I think would improve the device, though.1) Wish it was more weighted. Trying to lift the mouse off, the whole thing comes with it because it's so light. I ended up sticking three layers of lead tape strips made for gold clubs on the bottom and covered them with cloth tape to give it some friction and it works much better. But this was not something I hold against the manufacturer because they delivered exactly what they claimed. Plus, I doubt they want to get into shipping lead.2) Wish there was some kind of cradle or catch at the bottom to make lining up the mouse with the cord faster and without having to look at it.Still, really glad I got it. No more dead mice lying about.Only thing I regret is not getting it sooner. Also just discovered that it makes a wonderful charging stand for the Logitech Crayon. No extra wire needed for that! Yeah!
