I am quite happy with this pad! It’s comfortable, thick and REALLY durable! The world graphic on it is pretty easy to read and adds a fun look! I’d probably recommend itThe keyboard pull-out of my desk was getting a little roughed up, especially in the area near my mouse where my wrist rests. I bought a large mouse mat for the top of the desk, and it looked good enough for me to wonder if there was one that would fit my keyboard pullout, and match the one I got for the desk top.This mouse mat looks like a smaller version of the one on top, it fits the width of the tray nearly perfectly, it's a little shorter, but my keyboard, but the part it leaves exposed is difficult to see because it usually doesn't get pulled out that far, so it works just fine.There is one little imperfection, the stitching around the edge has a sharp imperfection (I'm guessing where the stitch begins/ends) at one corner where it falls under your mouse wrist. The solution: Turn the mat 180 degreesSo first, let me get the bad out of the way: when you remove this from the package, it stinks to high heaven. It's a weird combination of petroleum and B.O. that's immediately unpleasant. However, this will dissipate over time, and it seems responsive to Febreze (though it might take more than one application). I got the world map design since it seems like it's the most interesting without being just plain black or overly colorful. Now, I suppose if I want to see how many time zones there are in Europe, I no longer need to look it up; I can just look down.Others have said it's not as think as other mousepads, and it likely isn't, but it's also a perfect fit for my desk. Other large mousepads all seem to want to be more along the lines of 1000mm or more, so this will fit the bill for those who have smaller desks.This is perfect! I use my PC everyday and much of the day. I have been using a piece of rug pad (with all the little holes kind) for under the keyboard and a separate small mouse pad and it didn't look too good and didn't give me all the room I wanted for the mouse. But now I have it all. Plenty of room for both the keyboard and the mouse and it does not slip around on the desk at all. So happy with this. Makes a bit of life more simple. Isn't that nice?I'm working on an older computer desk and have to use my mouse and keyboard on this dumb pull-out drawer. Needed something that was right around 28"x12", and this mouse mat does the job. Fits great on the surface that I have. I like the plain black and the stitching around the edges seems quality.Docking half a star because the measurements are not quite exactly what's advertised.Advertised as 27.5 inches (70cm) diameter. Actual diameter is closer to 27inches (68.5cm).This was not a huge issue for me as it was close enough and fit my surface fine, just might be a dealbreaker for someone looking for exactly 27.5inches.Additionally there is a chemical smell on this mat that I noticed upon opening the package, but it seems to be slowly going away and isn't too pungent or abrasive.It arrived rolled up very tight but had no kinks, wrinkles or curves in the mouse pad itself. It is very soft and feels like it is just as quality as those that cost 4 to 5x more while not being overly large (30 inch+) or too small (20 inch and below). The bottom is very grippy and the top offers a smooth surface for your mouse while letting your keyboard stay in place and does not irritate my hands/wrists when resting or moving across it. I especially like the lack of any logos or tags on the mouse pad itself, it makes for a very clean look.As others have mentioned there is a rubbery smell however it has already almost gone away within the first day of using. Would definitely recommend to anyone who needs an extended mouse pad and doesn't want to spend a ton of money on something that is arguably lower quality than this with logos, branding or gimmicks all over it.The print on the pad is exactly as shown in the listing, but the pad itself is very thin - not at all like heavier gaming pads. It's at least 1/3 the thickness of other XXLarge pads, I've purchased.If you need / want an extra large pad for beauty, go for it - it is gorgeous. However, durability over time, is questionable.Since I am not using this as a mouse pad, but rather to protect one of several antique trunk tops, it will serve the intended purpose well. If I were using this as a mouse pad, I would likely have returned it, for one of the thicker pads.It’s simply a wonderful, inexpensive mouse pad, that makes for the most responsive, easy to use, experience with your computer. I highly recommend this, it’s at a very low cost, while maintaining top quality!Works
