No longer recommended, see updates for reasons why.Pros:- Great Build Quality. No squeaks or rattles of any kind. It seems that this can be hit and miss according to other reviews.- Very Comfortable- Extremely fast and crisp clicks on all buttons.- DPI Readout- Lightweight- iCue is very powerful and fully featuredCons:- iCue software is huge, may cause issues on some systems.- iCue is required to startup with Windows in order to set things like polling rate, DPI, RGB, button mappings, etc.- The mouse goes into random RGB mode when the computer is locked.- No way to turn off RGB without software- Mouse Acceleration (Enhanced Pointer Precision) is enabled by default and buried in the settings menu.Info:Many years ago I had a Deathadder and absolutely loved the shape for my grip. I have a bit of a relaxed palm grip (19x10ish cm hand size). At 1600 DPI, I use my fingers to make minute adjustments when browsing, but rely more on my wrist when gaming. It's hard to explain, BUT, the way I hold my mouse, the shape of the Deathadder felt great, if not perfect. Unfortunately, I owned two and both broke within a year, so I jumped ship. Fumbling my way through the mouse world, I snagged a Steelseries Rival 300, which was alright, and then grabbed a Glorious Model D. I liked the model D but there were build quality issues with it, and it didn't fit my hand as well as I was hoping. When I got this mouse, it fit my hand perfectly right away; I knew it was a keeper. I've used this for the past week for work and plenty of FPS gaming and everything has felt natural and smooth. Literally hit the ground running. No adjustment physical period like I got with other mice where I could feel I was used to the shape of my previous mouse. What took a bit of time was setting up the mouse the way I liked it. Disabled Enhanced Pointer Precision, 2 KHz polling rate, 1600 DPI, and my macros for several games. But once you get used to the iCue software, things are a breeze. Just a bit of a learning curve there. The only other thing worth mentioning is that the skates aren't as slick as the ones on my Model D, the PTFE is just better on that mouse. Perhaps the aftermarket will take care of that.Overall: At this price point, It's probably the best Right Handed Ergonomic mouse you could ask for. It has all the bells and whistles, great build quality, and just feels good in your hands.UPDATE (July 2022) - In April of 2022, after 11 months of ownership, I started experiencing an issue that made the mouse nearly unusable. I work from home and have a nice setup where I can use the same mouse and keyboard for both my work laptop and my desktop with a press of a button. So this mouse sees nearly constant use. And don't misconstrue that as an excuse for why the mouse started malfunctioning in less than a year's time, just giving some background. The issue was that the scroll wheel started to become less and less responsive. Scrolling would sometimes result in the document/webpage/whatever barely scrolling at all. Sometimes it would scroll a few lines up in the wrong direction. It became so bad that I swapped the mouse out with an old backup mouse and contacted Corsair support. The experience was good for the most part. Support was responsive, but they had me run through some unnecessary troubleshooting steps like resetting the mouse's settings, despite it clearly being a mechanical problem. After about a full day of email correspondence, they sent me an advanced replacement with a prepaid label to send the defective product back. So, overall, not bad. I received the mouse in a few days and so far there are no problems with the replacement other than some light squeaking from the side mouse buttons. I'm docking a star from my original review because I don't believe a $60 product like this should be breaking in less than a year's time.UPDATE (Sept 2022) - The scroll wheel issue is back with my replacement mouse. Corsair support is making me go through the same troubleshooting steps again while insisting that they contact "Tier 3 Specialists" for extra support. It's been over two days since I've heard back from them. Calling them gets me nowhere. So I'm stuck with yet another broken mouse, waiting for "specialists" to tell me what I already know. There's a fundamental defect in the design of the scroll wheel of this mouse. I have no confidence that a 2nd replacement will be any different. Frustrating support, bad design. Shame, really, because I really like this mouse when it's working properly. However, I can no longer recommend this product.Got this mouse for 70 USD on a discount. Can pair seamlessly with my corsair virtuoso's dongle, is fast, responsive and ergonomic, so it feels good in the hand while gaming. The body of the mouse is plastic, with a slightly textured plastic on most of the frame and a more polished looking one around it, however it feels sturdy and well made, the buttons are fast and clicky, with no wobble or extra travel that I can notice.Only con for now is that there's this creaking that can happen at the back of the mouse of you squeeze it, and that wasn't present on the wired version of it. However it is minimal and does not impact gaming or working at all, only happens when I actively press it. We will see how it evolves, but for now I give it a 8.5/10.As someone with bigger hands (19/10 cm) and who prefers a large mouse with a comfortable ergo grip, this is an awesome fit for me!Construction / Quality: LMB and RMB fire very fast. They are a bit noisy just as an fyi, but feel great. Side buttons are perfectly placed and feel sturdy. I did end up throwing some lizard skins on the sides of the mouse for a better grip, but the top of the mouse gave me no issues.Software: The iCue works fine, although it's a bit bloated. I would recommend installing it and checking out the polling rate options. I believe the wireless version is capable of using up to 2,000 hz. The lighting is nothing special, just the logo on the bottom. If you are going to be looking to get the most from the wireless without charging, probably just leave it off.Other: The weight is great, comes in around 80 grams which seems to be a sweet spot for me. Maybe my only gripe is with the feet of the mouse. Would be nice if they had better PTFE installed. That said, it glides fine on my hybrid pad.Overall I'm very pleased with this gaming mouse for playing first person shooters (FPS). The only problem is that it's so light I catch myself accidentally picking it up from the mousepad sometimes. Mainly when trying to aim down quickly (i.e. jumping over a ledge and snapping your crosshairs down to shoot someone hiding behind the ledge). The laser disengages because the heel of mouse comes just far enough of the mousepad and your crosshairs just stop. I'm a claw gripper, so I'm going to see if I can add some weight to the heel to solve the issue. Its good up until you [play csgo or pretty much any shooter. The scroll wheel is inconsistent so you dont know when you scroll for certain if your weapons will even swap. Its really annoying. Im returning this mouse because of it. Im just gonna buy the Harpoon Wireless again. not only is it better made, but its accurate where this might as well be possibly the worst mouse I've ever owned specifically because of this issue. And it happens with every single one of these mice too. it isn't just my model. Very common issue. Just go buy a harpoon wireless, its more accurate, feels more quality, and is cheaper.Love corsair products!I have pretty large hands but this mouse it very easy to hold and control. Very responsiveThe mouse itself is great and feels nice. But it requires iCue software which ruins the bindings for me. Cannot use MB4 or MB5 when playing games because of the macro ban on certain games for mice. To play games with bindings I would have to quit iCue everytime I load up any game. Dealbreaker for me. Going to return. Not really a mouse guy by any means, I don't know how to properly describe the feeling so this review is coming straight from a regular guy.My Logitech G403 HERO gave up recently, so went looking around for a replacement and came across this, along with the Razer Deathadder V2 and the Glorious Model O. Took the risk and bought the Corsair SABRE RGB Pro and I gotta say, the purchase is worth it. Owned this mouse for a week, and it does feel like a stepdown from the G403. Not saying this mouse is horrible, but compared to the G403, it feels like it slightly underperforms. It's a great mouse, I just need to get used to the differences.Onto the pros:This mouse is pretty amazing. Lower click latency than the G403. Lighter than the G403. Clicking is crisp and quiet, but the right mouse button feels a little mushier than the left (probably an issue for my mouse only). The shell is very well made, a very solid build. Shell did not creak or crack at all through aggressive gripping and compression. Shell has a matte finish with a bit of a texture on it including on the LMB/RMB buttons. It has 5 preset DPI settings (400, 800, 1200, 1600, 3200) with the ability to increase/decrease DPI in increments of 50. There's an indicator on the left side of the mouse that shows what DPI preset the mouse is currently set on. The scroll wheel is grooved and made out of rubber, good grip on it. Matte finish gives a good grip. Cable is paracord, so it's very durable. It's not flexible, but it holds its shape.Onto the cons:I previously gave this mouse a 4 star review, bumped it up to 5 stars. Had it on 4 stars because of the gliding experience and the lack of availability for aftermarket skates but it took relatively little time to get used to the gliding. Looking past the below-average skates on this mouse, it's a pretty solid mouse. I got nitpicky with this mouse but there wasn't a major issue I could find with it.-------------------------------------------------------TL;DR, Definitely would recommend this mouse. It's a great lightweight mouse with a very solid build, the clicks are crisp and quiet, DPI adjusting is precise, but the skates are not good so gliding is gonna be a different experience. Be wary of the LMB/RMB buttons as they may have a slight rattle to them.Pros:- Clicks are quiet, crisp and responsive- Very low click latency coming in around 7 to 8 ms- Comfortable, good with long gaming sessions- Build quality is good. Solid shell that doesn't bend or compress under hard gripping- Relatively light- DPI adjustment is good, can increase/decrease dpi settings by increments of 50Cons:- Skates could DEFINITELY be better, gliding experience is ok but not good.- No aftermarket replacement skates- The LMB/RMB have a noticeable rattle to it.- iCue software is nearly 1GB. (Why?)1. Tomen esto en cuenta antes de hacer su compra, quizá cualquier otro modelo de Corsair tenga mucha más calidad y no tanto marketing respecto al 8kz.I wanted to add a mouse with 8khz polling to my collection, and since I had already tried various Razer mice, I thought I'd add some variety with a Corsair mouse. As far as my "variety" objective goes, I like this mouse. The shape is unusual, but it really fills my palm and makes my grip feel more stable, the clicks feel good, and it's low latency (according to people who test those things). So solid 4 stars, but I'm really disappointed that the feature that really excited me about the mouse, 8khz polling, is a complete flop. It just flat out doesn't work properly, even running a very powerful CPU and GPU, and even when I pull it back to just 2khz. The issue is that the tracking speed becomes wildly inconsistent. At 2khz it's much less noticeable, but I did a test moving my mouse the width of the pad slowly vs. moving it quickly, and I spun different amounts in game (no, I don't have pointer precision enabled, the same test shows no issue at 1khz). Not good.this thing looks good from the outside but once you really use it it becomes more of an annoyance.1. the scrolling was either too fast or too slow, its like there was scroll acceleration and when it kicks in it was way too much. (I wouldn't even want it at all. I want an ACCURATE AF scroll wheel.)2. reconnecting to the computer after going to sleep mode, even after a couple minutes took DREADFULLY long. like, I would have to flail the mouse around and click all the buttons many times before the stupid cursor would start moving.MADDENING.and just now. as I load up my game and hit the play button, the game didn't load. I clicked again. still nothing. I clicked a third time, hard this time and for a longer press, nothing. Then one more normal click and the game loaded up.THIS IS ALSO MADDENING!!not registering clicks is the exact reason I replaced my last mouse. and this one has only seen 2 months of VERY light use.Avoid this like the plague!.... wait.. no. avoid this like a bad product!!First, this mouse is a LARGE. To big hands will love this. Its got a great sensor and the buttons are clicky and fat enough for your big hands to not have to fight to find it in the heat of the moment. But, if you have dry hands, like my hands do, you may find this slip too much, but thats nothing some electrical tape can't fix.As expected, the battery life isn't the longest when the RGB is turned on.The mouse looks great too and doesn't proclaim itself to be a GAMER mouse.
